Installing the Uconnect access app is extremely easy, and you can do it at your convenience.

The following are some steps you can take to install the app. 

  •  First, visit your Apple or Google Play Store and type in the Uconnect Access app. Once the app pops up, click on it and click on install to download the app.
  • Once the download and installation process is complete, you can proceed to click on the Apps icon on your car’s Uconnect screen.
  • Select the Go Services icon on your Uconnect screen. 
  • Before using the Uconnect access app, you must register your vehicle for Uconnect Access. So, you need to provide your email address and send it to Sirius XM® Guardian to activate the app.
  • Once you send your email address, SiriusXM® Guardian will send you an activation link, permitting you to generate your user profile.
  • Once your user profile is functional, go back to the smartphone Uconnect app and log in with the same email address and password you used earlier.
  • Immediately after you log in with your complete details, you can explore and enjoy the numerous features of the Uconnect Access app.

How do I Upgrade my Uconnect System? 

The simplest way to upgrade your Uconnect system is to have your dealership perform it when you take your vehicle for a routine checkup.

However, if you don’t want to take your vehicle to your dealership for the upgrade, you can do it yourself. 

First, you will have to get a computer or a laptop. Plus, your vehicle with a Uconnect system nearby and a vacant 4GB USB memory stick.

Then, to check for recent updates, go to the Uconnect website and type in your vehicle identification number.
