• Spin the wheel wrench from left to right to lift the jack to the metal flange. Continue spinning till the vehicle has enough space to fit in the spare tire.
• Unscrew the wheel nuts and remove the tire.
• Clean any rust and dust on the wheel bolts, spare tire, and mounting surfaces.
• Position the compact tire on the surface of the wheel mount.
• Screw the wheel nuts and tauten by hand till the wheel is in place.
• Turn the jack anticlockwise to drop the tire to the ground.
• Using the wheel wrench, tighten the nuts in cross sequence.
• Pull out the jack. Pull up the liftgate and return the tools to the rear storage partition and replace the cover. The tire should be laid down flat in the partition, and use the strap to secure the tire in place.

Do not use oil or lubricant on nuts and bolts. It is to prevent the nuts from coming loose when driving.

Wheel nuts that are not well tightened could lead to rotor damage or brake throbbing. The nuts must be uniformly tightened.

Wheel covers can’t fit onto the vehicle’s compact spare. Putting wheel covers on compact spares can damage the tire. In addition, do not get under a jacked vehicle.
