In Canada, Hyundai Is the best import car company in the country. Hyundai Canada (officially known as Hyundai Auto Canada Inc) first opened its doors in Quebec in 1989.

Reviews have shown that they have offered Hyundai customers satisfaction at its peak raising to date. But how far are they willing to go to satisfy Hyundai customers?

Hyundai Canada offers complimentary maintenance to users of their automobiles. Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance encourages new owners to stay on top of things. For three years or 36,000 miles, Hyundai has you covered for typical, factory-scheduled maintenance intervals (whichever comes first). More regular maintenance is not permitted owing to extreme driving or weather conditions.

What Does Hyundai Canada Complimentary Maintenance Cover?

Hyundai Canada Offer Complimentary Maintenance

Regular care and maintenance are required to keep your new Hyundai running at its peak performance.

Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance is available to all new Hyundai owners, and we encourage them to take advantage of it.

Hyundai Canada complimentary maintenance covers standard, factory-scheduled maintenance intervals for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first (whichever comes first).

However, it does not perform more frequent maintenance due to extreme driving or weather conditions.

The following are some advantages it offers.

  • Change of engine oil and oil filter (optional).
  • Tire rotations are necessary.
  • They perform a multi-point inspection.
  • Genuine Hyundai Oil Filters and Hyundai Recommended Oil
  • Hyundai Protection Plans with extended terms are available for customers who use their vehicles frequently or for long periods.

For three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, Hyundai will provide complimentary maintenance that includes an oil and filter change (with the exclusion of electric cars and their fuel cell counterparts) and tire rotation during the regular factory maintenance, slated at intervals for the life of the car.

It can not perform frequent and recurring maintenance that is due to extreme driving or weather conditions. Purchases or leases of new Hyundai models from 2020 to 2022 made on or after February 1, 2020, are eligible for this offer

For more information and restrictions, please consult your local Hyundai dealer. The terms of the Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance Program are as follows: (HCM)

  • All-new Hyundai retail vehicles for the Model Years 2020 – 2022 purchased on or after February 1, 2020, are eligible for this offer. (Hyundai vehicles sold before this time are ineligible for HCM reimbursement.)
  • Recurring maintenance induced by extreme driving or weather conditions is not permitted.
  • Maintenance is limited to oil and filter changes and tire rotations and at the slated intervals only; it includes no other services. Refer to the Manual for complete information.
  • Coverage for three years or 36,000 miles, any of which comes first, is included.
  • HCM services can only be received at Hyundai servicing dealerships that the manufacturer has authorized.
  • You must redeem each service before 1,000 miles or one month from the time specified in your Manual. The failure of a customer to redeem services before the expiration of the applicable mileage/term will not result in the cancellation of any future services you have not redeemed.
  • Other than those employed for professional use such as realtors and outside sales, only new vehicles are eligible for this service, not even CPOs.
  • In addition, except between spouses, you cannot transfer eligibility for complimentary maintenance. It is only available to the original owner/buyer.
  • Coverage is limited to the primary services outlined in your Manual at purchase. Typical wear and tear components, such as engine filters, cabin air filters, brake pads, and other similar items, do not receive coverage under warranty. Any additional maintenance required as a result of excessive driving becomes your responsibility.
  • Services and repairs labeled “inspect” in your Manual do not receive coverage under this policy. There will be a fee for any service recommended or any inspection not included in the price of the oil and filter change and tire rotation.
  • Some terms differ from one state to the next. Earlier stated rates or reimbursements disclosed can change at any given time and without prior notification. Every participant agrees that Hyundai Motor America holds the exclusive right to modify, adjust or cancel this program or its terms whenever they deem it necessary.

Hyundai Canada Parts

Hyundai Canada Parts

I would recommend OEM (Original Equipment manufacturers) replacement parts for your Hyundai. These genuine parts are meticulously designed to fit your specific vehicle.

OEM parts reflect originality aimed at improving the performance of your vehicle. Their reliability is evident with other automobile manufacturers like Honda recommending them for use in their vehicles.

Because of this, obtaining a random piece of equipment from any mechanic will not suffice.

Some parts needing the most attention include;

#1. Wheels

In Canada, tires are possibly the most important vehicle component (after your brakes, that is).

People who cannot navigate through snow, sleet, ice, and slush are not likely to get very far in the winter months.

Every Hyundai Canada dealership carries winter tires, and their certified technicians can have you in and out with a quick appointment.

In addition, summer tires can be stored at some dealerships (such as Go Auto’s Hyundai locations) for use during the winter months.

However, it is critical that your tires are in good shape regardless of the weather.

The professionals at a nearby dealership can ensure that they remain in excellent condition through a regular tire check which could reveal a need for tire changes or rotation and wheel alignments.

Tires that are properly balanced improve braking, handling, and fuel economy over time.

#2. Belts and Battery

If you are a resident of Canada, you must be familiar with car batteries and their susceptibility to failure in extreme weather conditions.

Any battery that is more than three years old can fail at any time. As a result, please ensure that you check the fluid, test it for a charge, and keep the terminals clean.

It is similar to how timing belts can wear over time, causing damage to an engine if not checked regularly.

Negligence has the potential to be deadly. Ascertain where you can find a dependable Hyundai Canada dealership and visit it regularly.

#3. Brakes

In addition to being inevitable, a delayed service for your brake will almost certainly result in much higher costs in the long run.

The importance of having the brake pad, rotors, and fluids checked should not be underestimated.

These are requirements for safety, not suggestions. So when should you have them checked?

How often should they be checked?

Consult the guide included in the vehicle owner’s manual for maintenance instructions.

#4. Oil and Filters

The vast majority of drivers are diligent about checking their oil. Was it ever brought to your attention that the proper grade of oil can make your car run more efficiently; therefore, reducing your expenditure on gas?

On the other hand,  car owners frequently overlook filters, and this could be detrimental.

A clogged air filter could make your engine work double times, causing you to use more gas than is necessary.

An air filter that is clean enough can improve your vehicle’s fuel efficiency by up to 10%, believe it or not.
