  • AWD can handle bumpy roads and nasty weather conditions, but this is not the case for 4WD as it cannot handle it efficiently. 
  • 4WD is the best option for towing tough vehicles of different sizes. However, AWD can only tow light or moderate cars in weight.
  • AWD is 100% compatible with SUVs, while 4WD is more suitable for heavy-duty trucks.
